The Ladies Only Festival at Europa-Park Rust takes a break
Since 2014, the Ladies Only Festival has been bringing thousands of people together at Europa-Park in spring. To dance, sweat, party, run, trampoline and try out new and sometimes crazy fitness, sports and dance concepts together. To relax, meet up with friends or family members, cook, be creative or simply unwind. And all of this exclusively for women - still unique in Europe.
Where there is a lot of light, there is also shadow. Like so many things, our festival has experienced a turning point due to the coronavirus pandemic. Leisure behavior has changed, new forms of sporting activities are now much more readily available, and the offerings of many gyms and sports clubs have been greatly expanded. What used to be a unique selling point has now become mainstream.
In times of pandemic, a large number of fitness, dance and sports trainers have switched to more crisis-proof professions, which means that the market for these essential services is getting smaller and smaller. Personnel and technical costs have now reached levels that make a festival production almost twice as expensive as in 2020, for example, the last festival before the pandemic. Added to this is the generally difficult overall economic situation and a decline in private consumer spending, which we can see from the falling visitor numbers; these are still far below those before Corona. We do not want to and cannot counteract this by increasing ticket prices, as our events should be accessible to everyone and should not become pure luxury events.
As we can no longer produce economically viable events under the current circumstances, the Ladies Only Festival at Europa-Park Rust will take a break. We are currently unable to say whether - and if so when and with what concept - there will be a continuation at Europa-Park Rust.
But we have good news for you: We're celebrating a comeback in January 2026 - the Ladies Only Festival is returning, this time at Ballhaus Freiburg! We can't wait to dance, laugh and recharge our batteries with you there. We would be delighted to see you there!

To the Mack family, who trusted us to create a new concept in their home and who have remained loyal to us for many years. Thanks to all our partners and exhibitors who enriched the marketplace and many workshops with new ideas and offers and made the event something very special. Our special thanks go to Katja Mack, who has not only accompanied the development of the Ladies Only Festival from the very beginning, but has also contributed to the fact that we were able to offer exciting workshops in extraordinary venues that will be remembered for a long time to come through her partnership with the Talent Academy Europa-Park, which she founded.
